“I booked Jess shortly after I got engaged last summer. I didn’t talk to Jess much about what I wanted for my makeup on my wedding day. During my lovely engagement, COVID came along. My fiancé (at the time 😉) and I waited several weeks to see what changes would happen with COVID and then we would decide what we were going to do. I didn’t inform Jess of too much during all this COVID craziness because I just simply didn’t have answers for her. Once we decided (end of July) that we were going to go along with our original date, Aug. 29th, 2020, we informed Jess and as well let her know of the venue change. Our venue closed until September because of COVID, so we had to find a new venue outside (due to our numbers and restrictions in place).
Jess was professional, flexible and communicative during these quick 4 weeks to plan my wedding. Jess had no issues with the change of where we were going to get ready. It was further out for her to come and normally there would be a fee for that.
Needless to say, Jess was the perfect choice for my make-up. She did my makeup as soft glam, her specialty and it was perfect! She also went from being a makeup artist to being so compassionate at one point while she was doing my makeup (I was having a moment).
Oh and if she wasn’t amazing enough, she was also going through planning her wedding that is in October while Covid was happening. She had a lot going on and you would have never know because she kept so composed.
